“I went to Kerry for the first time after a marathon. She helps my body heal itself. Her knowledge of the body is amazing. She teaches you what is going on, what she's doing to address it, and how you can continue to work on the problem after you leave.
Kerry is an effective, informative, and deeply talented healer.”

MASSAGE THERAPY MODALITIES
Working with bodies is never dull. Every body is different and I will never know all there is to know about the human body or spirit. A good massage therapist should have multiple tools in her/his tool chest. Following are just a few types of bodywork that I employ, depending of course on the needs of the client.
Neuromuscular Therapy is detailed, bio-mechanically based work that treats soft tissue sources of pain. By releasing adhesions, trigger points and increasing circulation, balance is restored to the neuromuscular system. Often called, Trigger Point Therapy, it addresses “knots” which often refer pain to remote areas.

Knowledge of trigger point patterns allows me to treat many sources of pain that have plagued clients for years and which are unresponsive to pain killers, muscle relaxers or massaging the painful area, since the pain is referred from nearby area.
Cranio-Sacral Therapy is a very gentle technique that releases fascia and restores the cranial rhythm, freeing the flow of cerebral spinal fluid, nourishing the spine and allowing the cranial bones to breath and move freely. Extremely effective when a client is in too much pain for deep work.
Massage for Fibromyalgia is a soothing, light massage technique designed to de-stimulate the central nervous system, lower blood irritants and reduce irritation to the fascial layer. It follows a specific protocol to lower Central Nervous System stimulation and production of prostaglandins, believed to be irritants to the CNS, carried in the blood. This technique is a first protocol for sufferers of Fibromyalgia. Click here for Mind-Body Fibro Study.pdf.

“Kerry is a "Muscle Magician!”
“Kerry treated me after a serious car accident when I needed gentle, but effective, treatment. Her strength is that she observes each body individually. I really felt she was personalizing her therapy to my unique case.”
